Greetings, good mailers!
The new year is nearly upon us, and as I prune and tidy the comments on this blog (did you know that I am protecting you against spam and people who only want to sell you things? happy holidays…), I’ve been noticing that more than a few people are having trouble with the old Call for Correspondents post. Some people have moved. Other people find the visual jumble of greetings, thanks, and commentary make it difficult to find WHO wants to write, and what their interests are.
Now, I think it’s great that people are chatting in the comments. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy whenever I log in and see people saying I got your mail! It was beautiful! and Look for something special from me! and I was having a hard time and your letter really made my day.
But I can also see the point of streamlining.
So, let’s clean the slate and start over again. I’ll leave comments to the old post open, and people can chatter there all they want. Maybe I’ll re-name the link “mail art chatter” or the like. THIS post is for those of you who are still taking new correspondents, or who have just found this blog for the first time.
Want a pen friend, mail artist buddy, or correspondent? Comment below!
You must include your address, your interests and a brief description either about you, or about the sort of mail you’d like to receive (for example, some people prefer long letters, while others are happier making and receiving mail art postcards). I know that a number of people prefer not to leave their mailing addresses here, and that’s fine (although I think it’s limiting). While I moderate the comments to remove things that look like spam, I can make no guarantee as to the quality of those who read or write here.
PLEASE NOTE: I’ll be moderating the comments to include ONLY your correspondence “ads”. Chat away all you want–just over on the other thread! (Don’t be cross if I delete your responses to others’ posts–we want to keep this comment thread as tidy and easy-to-read as possible!)
Happy 2012–Carolee

Hi, all!
I love Mail Art of all kinds. I love dogs – especially the irrepressible Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I live in Canada – which is getting snowy with a long cold winter ahead. Great for staying inside and making Mail Art.

Hi! Just found this place recently and I’m excitied to find other Mail Art enthusiasts.
I actually retired from mail art for many years, but recently dusted off everything and am ready to take the plunge again.
My interests lean heavily into the offbeat, strange and/or weird. Too cute and I’m lost. I wouldn’t call myself an artist, but I do love putting together envelopes that tell a story or paint a picture of some kind. And as much as I love sending things out I love getting art back in the mail.
I’m 60 yo, married and have dogs instead of kids. I’ve had many dogs over the years and have stamps of all of them – they figure heavily into my mail at times. I was a commercial interior designer for over 30 years and have also been a truck driver. Yes, the big rigs, 18 wheels and all. And I still love both interior design and big trucks!
Would love to receive and send mail art with anyone, anywhere. If you can relate to any of my interests I can relate to yours.

Hi there! I’m up for exchanging any kind of snail mail and mail art
I love animals, especially those of the cat family – house cats, lions, tigers (bears, oh my!) I love writing letters and writing in general. I’m in the finishing stages of getting my Young Adult Fantasy novel published (should be ready before Christmas!). I love stickers, stationary, anything artsy crafty. I love unique things infused with your own personality. I like FB’s and am up for trading them if you let me know.
I am 19 years old. I have an adopted cat – she’s rather obese, and is named Winnie. I call her Winnie the Moo. I live with my mom, her fiance, and my younger sister/best friend, Katie. I want to go to Film School next year. I LOVE movies, books, and TV shows, though I rarely ever actually watch TV. (Netflix!<3) I'm also trying to collect post cards, letters, and packages from every state and as many as I can Internationally, as part of a project I'm working on. I reply to everything I'm sent as long as there is an address. Sometimes, due to my busy schedule, it takes me a bit longer to reply. Doesn't mean I forgot about you though:)
My address until February is
Mandy Huston @
15879 E. Brown Avenue
Aurora, CO. 80013
After Feb. 2012, contact me @ mandy.huston@aol.com for my address (:

Hello out there. I just like getting real mail like back in the day. I like sending mail, too. I like the idea of Mail Art, though I really don’t know what y’all are talking about when you say that. I try to decorate my envelopes but that means I put a sticker on ‘em–does that count? Anyway, I have a bunch of postcards and some other maily stuff that I’d like to use up so I can have a reason to get some more. My interests are the TV show NCIS, juggling, letterboxing (my might want to look that one up!), Postcrossing (I just started that one a week or so ago), movies (not as much as I used to), reading (not as much as I used to *sigh*). I want to scrapbook but so far I’ve just collected a bunch of scraps. So if you’re interested in sometimes writing and sometimes maybe getting a reply, then I’m your .45* cent fair weather friend!

Would like to show the younger generation in the family that the world does not totally consist of sitting in from of a computer twittering or facebook. to see the lack of a written word from them is disturbing to say the least and the utter lack of knowledge on geography is just as bad.
I have a 4, 10 and 13 year olds as well as the 43 yr old fart starting this
I have plucked out some addresses here and will put my current address on the postcards I am sending out
I will be setting up a PO box shortly as we may be moving in the next year and don’t want anyone to get a bum address.
Look forward to hearing form you all.
And is ANYONE ELSE here a notebook freak. You might find some stuff coming back at you.

I just recently started getting really into mail art. I’m not the greatest, but I do love writing letters and sharing my little doodles and having a nicely stuffed mailbox in return.
I am nineteen years old, and have always had an interest in nearly all forms of art. Theatre is another passion of mine, and I intend on attending university to pursue theatre production and design. I have three kitties and a puppy dog, all of which I love dearly. I collect interesting postcards and all things handmade. I love stationery/paper/interesting stickers/ephemera.
Send me any and all forms of mail art/letters and I promise that I will reply (assuming of course that you include a return address!).

HAPPY DAY MAIL
I really enjoy creating and receiving mail art of any kind…postcards, letters (any length), and seeing what unusual items will get through the postal system. I respond to every piece of mail I receive–always!
I am retired, 63 years young, happily married for 42 years to the same great guy, have 2 grown sons, 2 sweet daughters-in-law, and 6 delightful grandchildren. I am a Master Gardener, collect sea glass, a birder, and love living in our restored 115 year old farmhouse off the Chespeake Bay in Virginia.
Hope we can meet real soon through the mailbox…I’ll be watching!

Greetings! I have recently become involved in mail art as a “thing” (although I’ve been decorating my mail for years). I’m an elementary school art teacher and just started teaching adult classes at a small gallery iin our arts district. This month we’ve been making envelopes, postcards and tiny treasures to send through the mail. I am doing my best to help revive the lost art of correspondence. My interests are many – gardening, middle eastern drumming/dancing, knitting, mixed media art, meditation, swimming, cooking…
Write on!

Hi everyone. I love reading, watching movies from the 50s and 60s, photography, stationery, stickers, and many other artsy things. I’m also obsessed with key rings and Arizona fruit drink. I would like to receive mail art from anyone who is willing to send mail to me. I live in Jamaica and it’s a little chilly and hot at the same time right now. It’s quite cold in the night too. I don’t mind if the letter is long or short. My e-mail is shiagirl13@yahoo.com If you are interested here is my name and address.

Hi all! I love snail mail, letters, postcards, mail art etc. I’m still in the beginning stages of mail art and making ATC’s, but it’s so much fun. I seem to be looking at paper in a whole different way now and don’t want to throw any of it away, thinking I can use it somehow, lol. I love bears and anything with bears on it, alligators and giraffes, just to name a few. I also crochet and cross stitch. If anyone is interested to exchange mail, short or long letters, please write to me at:

Happy 2012 Everyone! I’m happy we have a shiny new comments thread.
So about me, I love writing letters. I’d love to find a nice intimate collection of pen pals who I keep in touch with on a long term basis…but I also welcome a mail art quickie if you just want to swap some mail art with me. I am in my late 30′s and have three kids…the youngest is now just 8 months old and I have decided to stay home and care for him for a bit. I have a good time being a stay at home mommy. I’m enjoying it while I can.
I love PINK! I love pinks and shabby chic styles. Then I also love bright jewel tones in blues, purples, turquoise and hot pinks. I don’t really like earth tones, but to be honest, I love getting mail and mail art so much that my heart leaps whenever my mailbox has a letter in it…so just express yourself and I will appreciate what you send.
If you want to send me a little goodie then I LOVE if you stamp an image or two from a stamp in your collection, I will use it in my art journal. I also love die cuts! Anything I can use in my art journal makes me very happy. I will return the favor of course and send you some stamped images and die cuts back.
Newbies – I welcome your mail art!! If you are just starting out, if you are trying new things, if you want to give this mail art thing a go…I’m your audience! I never judge and if you put your heart into what you do, I’m sure it will be perfect. <3

Hello All – I am not sure what mail art is, but it saddens me greatly that our generation is loosing the art of letter writing. What will future generations stumble upon in dusty attics, when all of our photos and correspondence is on a hard drive? And it really saddens me that my once beautiful penmanship has greatly suffered since I have virtually stopped using it. So, I have made it my “New Years” resolution to find a bunch of old fashioned pen pals, and make going to the mail box fun, like it use to be.
I know I haven’t told to much about myself – but if you want to know then you’ll have to write and ask.

Hello Everyone!! My name is Jennifer and I love to snail mail … both sending and receiving. As for my interests, they are varied and seem to be cyclical. I like to get to know someone and have them get to know me by exchanging mail. I am in my 40′s going on 17 (teehee), live in Western NY and am always busy doing something so my adventures make for great reading.
As for mail art, right now I am into my colored pencils and crayons for creating but seem to be migrating to my stickers and labels but have a whole room of art/craft supplies (alot of recycling going on at my house) so you never know what I might send out … I have been known to send a random item or two through the mail. I am not partial to any type of correspondence so you might get a long letter, short note, postcard or random package from me and any of these in my mailbox will make it a HAPPY MAIL DAY!!!

Hello, hello! I adore the whole mail scene in its entirety, but I’m at a point where I can’t write too much more! I am really looking for just another one or two people with whom to exchange collage (or painted or drawn – whatever) postcards. Maybe a quick note on the back, but mostly an exchange based on visual communication.
I don’t have formal training as an artist, but in the last few years I have become very interested in exploring as much as I can. It’s the first time I’ve really just taught myself through experimentation, reading, finding mentors, and following my interests – no classes, no lessons (not that I’m in any way against that – just can’t work it in now.) And I’m having a good time. I’m kind of serious about it, kind of light-hearted – enjoying the process.
So, if you’re up for an art-focused exchanged, I’d love it! I like working with old (1940s/1950s) LIFE magazines, discarded books, little lost bits from here and there. I don’t buy much that’s new. I like surreal things, beautiful things, silly things, the subtle and the bold, and observations about this and that. I like history and putting in the time it takes to make and keep a friend. I’m not always quick, but am generally reliable!

I love mail of all types – mail art, ATCs, postcards, long letters – I’m easy. I’m the ‘punk bookkeeper’ – accountant by day, artist/writer by night! I’m almost 28, married-but-not-straight, feminist, interested in breaking down the kyriarchy, etc etc. I love shabby chic and retro aesthetics, and crafting, and piercings and tattoos, and music of all kinds but mostly punk, indie, and folk.

Hello all,
I am a mixed media artist, living life in spite of a physical disability. Yup that does mean I often need to use my wheelchair. The good thing about it is, that seeing as I can’t do other activities such as jogging, marathon running, karate, hiking, etc. It leaves me plenty of time to devote to my art and my obsessions with art journaling, and mail art. I love to make ATC’s, handmade journals,Postcards, decorated envelopes, sketches, etc. I love all kinds of paper, stickers, ephemera, stamps, die cuts, really anything that I can use in my art journals or mail art. I am apt to send anything from a quick note with doodles, or a decorated envelope, to a collage piece, a ATC, a postcard made from original art, a small painting, bits of ephemera I want to share, or even a short little story of a day in my life. If anyone’s interested in exchanging Happy Mail with me..please send to

Hi Everyone,
I am a fine artist which loves just about everything. I tend to create paintings and mixed media works of art. I love the process of discovering what you like as an artist and incorporating it into another work of art which further helps its meaning. As a result of being a fine artist I appreciate works of all kinds. But if I had to choose something I’m interested in I would say toys of all kinds, mixed media works, abstract works and vintage context works. Over all I really enjoy creative and clever works of art. I’m an open artist so postcards/letters/whatever here I’am ! If anyones interested in exchanging mail art with me. send to

Hello! Happy Holidays!
I am into any kind of mail; I like long letters creatively written (or boringly written, too
), art mail, postcards, and whatever else. I like to send mostly art mail and stories (or life creatively written) but certainly willing to exchange traditional penpal letters as well
I am also interested in photography as long as you don’t mind that I may use your picture in an art journal!

I love mail art of all sorts…postcards to letters. I am within weeks of being 59, live in N VA, just outside of Washington, D.C. We own two fat cats and one crazy Australian Shepherd dog named Who-Dey. I am an avid photographer and often enjoy using my photos as a postcard, but send out the “regular” ones as well. I inhale books of all sorts, am an avid visual journaler as well, and a mixed media artist. Bright vivid colors are my favorites. I enjoy recycling bits and pieces of my everyday life into my art. By day, I teach math and social studies to sixth graders. Oh, and I love “texture!’

I’m a long time snailer and love to write long reflective letters or short postcards. I tend to fall into the rhythm my penpal is comfortable with. I tend to decorate the inside and outside of my missives and love to write with my fountain pens. I’m returning to art after a long absence due to child rearing, grad school, and the quick sand of work. I’m close to 60, live in the woods with my cat and guinea pig, and love the solace of nature. I’m becoming aware that I’m a journal, art supply, sketchbook, pen and ink addict/hoarder and can only justify this state of affairs by putting it all to use. If you write, I will reply.

Hello!
-I have lived in the Northeast all my life.
-My life has approximately twenty six years in it (so far).
-I am so new to mail art. I have had the book for five minutes, give or take an hour.
-My best friend and I have lived in separate states for most our lives. We wrote each other incessantly when we were kids, before widespread internet access, before we were old enough to use the computer without permission, and because it was fun. I miss it.
-I love knitting, reading, computer games, crocheting, cross stitch, tabletop RPGs, geocaching, letterboxing, having tea out even if having tea at home would be cheaper, cooking, small household tasks that me me feel accomplished, learning, and mail.
-I hate my pessimism, foods with a gooshy texture, and when my cats go in my knitting bag and chew off the ends of wooden knitting needles.
-I also love my husband and cats (except for the knitting needles).

Hi!
I find inspiration in many things! I currently live in Rhode Island fairly close to the ocean. Things that I gravitate to: gardening, photography, flowers, nature, mushrooms, cooking/baking, organizing, exercising, listening to music, visiting antique and consignment shops, vintage cards, old typewriters, letters, CALLIGRAPHY, blogging, bicycles, pinterst, architecture, travel, short driving trips, long driving trips, quaint towns, wildlife, pink & yellow, seafoam green, painting, watercolors….
This is just a snippet of what I like, however, I especially like what you as an artist and writer can come up with!
Looking forward to getting to know you through long letters I write in calligraphy and fancy lettering.

I’m a children’s book author (Jennifer Armstrong – you can look me up!), parenting blogger (www.LionsWhiskers.com), adoptive single mom to a 12-year-old from a faraway land, vegetarian, card-player, gardener, activist, and a lifelong papercrafter. I have always enjoyed making collage, scenic stamping, ATCs, mail art, cards, Postcrossing, altered books, mini albums, etc. I like to repurpose falling-apart or damaged children’s books into stationery, art, etc. I’m 50 years old, and although I’m happy to correspond with folks half my age, I find that if we are closer in age we are likely to find more common ground for an ongoing exchange of letters, ideas, opinions. That being said, I do reply to ALL letters, usually right away (as it makes an excellent distraction from work and my boss is typically reading near the fire.) Your letters will find me at:

I enjoy growing organic herbs and veggies; butterfly gardening; camping; baking; reading fiction, non-fiction and memoirs; cd mixes (giving and receiving); being a Mac user; avoiding housework; embroidery; traveling; learning; drinking red wines; visiting bookstores, libraries, museums, national parks, friends, and coffee shops; quilting & patchwork; being in nature; being around animals; watching movies; listening to music; kayaking; Bookcrossing and PaperBackSwap; geocaching; scavenger hunts; social networking; hanging clothes to line dry; photography; swapping crafty stuffs, and correspondence. I’m a tattooed, motorcycle-riding librarian with a pierced nose. I’m also comfortably located in my mid-40s.

Jana Collin
Hello!
My name is Jana, I live in Los Angeles and I am embarking on a year long letter writing campaign. My idea is to take the relationship I have had with my Facebook posts off line.
I love quarky, weird, ironic, sweet and melancholic letters and notes. I love words… I enjoy spending time in wild nature but have found a tribe of Bohemians in my adopted city. I will be writing 365 short “posts” and then randomly sending them out via the old address-in-a-fishbowl method. Don’t worry, my posts aren’t just check-ins. I am really hoping for responses and a chance to engage in dialogue with friends.
I am excited about the chance to explore mail art as well, lthough that was definitely an afterthought inspired by seeking out these communities. I look forward to supplementing the “post by mail” project with longer letters. When in Los Angeles I am typing on an Underwood Manual Typewriter from the twenties and will be experimenting with carbon paper for the first time since I was a wee little California girl.
I’d love to hear from other lovers of the written word and.promise to write back both with a project “post” and letter.
Happy 2012!

I love mail, mail art, stationery, paper, clever things … you get the idea! I also love pen-pals. So whether you are looking for someone to share ‘pretties’ with, or someone who writes long letters, that’s me. I am an Australian, and I now live in the UK, and often travel (so lots of postcards!) If you want to find out about me, it is best to read my blog: http://nobeatenpath.com. Frankly it seems to star my son, but you will probably get an idea about me.
I have a metal type letterpress, so you will probably end up with some letterpress goodness if you become a correspondent. And I make artists books: http://www.photobiblio.com

Don’t know where else to post this. So if a problem let me know please..
Thanks

Hi Derrick,
Wow, you’ve been busy! This is great!
My apologies for removing your other comments, but people did say that they wanted a streamlined board. Have you tried leaving little messages in the “Mail Art Chit-Chat” entry?

Hey everybody! I’m 26 and I love to receive snail mail. I have to admit sometimes it takes me a little to respond, but that doesn’t mean I forgot, it’s more that I would feel bad with sending a half-hearted response in a hurry. I like mail art (but am only a beginner at this), scrapbooking, reading (I can never have enough books), the movies, walking outside in sunny weather, music (but I’m not up to date with this anymore) and travelling. I love to learn something about other countries and to get ideas about where to travel, I guess that’s one of the reasons I’m addicted to postcrossing.
I also like learning new languages. My English is pretty good, but my Spanish still needs improvement. I also want to learn Japanese and Turkish some day. When I have enough time and a good idea comes to my mind I love to paint.
So, if you want I would be happy about some letters or postcards!
Hope to hear from you soon!

Hello to all and a Happy New Year!
I’m a used to be photographer going into the forensic science field which should hint at the wide spectrum of interests I have. I was born in rural NC and currently live in Chicago, IL. I’m definitely nostalgic and have an affinity for the “old-fashioned” (why I love snail mail so) but am intrigued by modern design as well. I’m sort of all over the place but some specific interests of mine include art, biology, the mountains, traveling, other people/cultures, naps, hats, gray, green, and I definitely enjoy all things creative and unique!
I’m interested in receiving any kind of snail mail: letters, mail art, postcards, etc. and look forward to returning the favor.

Would love to find some great new penfriends all over the world – women only – who are creative. I’m rather new at mailart, so I’m only toying with envelopes thus far – my creative outlet is the written word, as I’m a fiction writer. Love all creativity and discussions on many subjects, long letters, reading literature, lakes, woods, cats, weather observations, mysteries, and lots more.
Great to hear from some of you.

Hello letter writers! My daughters and I started a 2011 letter project last year and while we didn’t reach our goal, we are still collecting letters from all over the world (US included). I am behind on updating the blog, but we are still enjoying reading the letters that come in. We are now at over 300 letters and hope to reach our goal by the end of this year…maybe sooner. We have written back to a few of the people but never heard back. Anyways, we love letters and would love to get some penpals. My youngest daughter (13) is having the hardest time with penpals, they have all stopped writing and sometimes she has been requested to write first and then she never hears back,so if you have a daughter around her age, please email us as she would be so thrilled to have a penpal to keep in touch with. I also have a 17 and 15 year old daughter that would love penpals, too.(girls only) I would also enjoy getting letters… I’m 34,stay at home mom, homeschooler who loves to read, bake, play games with my kids, write letters, collect journals and photos of other places and more. I’d love to get artsy letters and maybe your stories. You can also see our letter blog here that we hope to update soon: http://2011letters.blogspot.com
We can be reached at reneealam(at)verizon.net to get our address, thanks and have a great day!

wannabeefarm
Good morning,
I’m looking for some mail art/pen pal buddies. People to share the everyday ins and outs of life as well as their unique brand of mail art. I am a newbie to both mail art and penfriending so if you are looking for polished art and creative writing, I may not be up your alley. I am in the experimental stage
I love horses, dogs, cats, chickens and hawks seem to be my totem. I am a wannabe farmgirl/cowgirl and photographer/writer/poet – though that romantic notion does not pay by bills so I work fulltime at a local university. I love books (lots of books- of any kind, I am a notebook addict) fountain pens (though my penmanship stinks) and old typewriters. I love being outdoors, walking, hiking, kayaking, playing in the garden or the barn.
If you would like to contact me please email me at deedee396@yahoo.com
Here’s to a good mail year
Peace,
Vicki

Hello everyone
Make me want to write my brain empty.
Age and gender are not important at all.
Like everyone else I am looking for a couple of long term long pen pals. Preferable long, quirky, interesting, funny, honest (…) letters.
A few words about me, I am a 27 years old expat nowadays residing in – at the moment – freezing cold Finland.
I totally love to ramble away in my letters, share my thoughts, feeling and pretty much everything going through my mind.
Letter writing is not a hobby, but a passion. So are movies, books – mostly fantasy – all things to do with paper, letters and mail, and ice hockey. I also love all things random, tea, being a Sandwich Artist and my three cats who are my babies.
If you feel like sending me some mail:

Good day to you all! I’m Cameron, a young guy just starting out. I found this site not too long ago and got super excited. I’ve wanted to do art trades through snail mail for years, though this will be my first actual mail art exchange.
I adore stickers, stars, art/writing supplies, and rainbows. I collect small bottles, maps, and still have my childhood addiction to Pokemon and Nintendo, plus my recently found love for James Dean<3
I rarely recieve mail, so postcards, letters of any length, and whatever else are definitely welcome. I'd love to both make and recieve, and I'll reply to anything I recieve, but with college coming up I might be a bit slow. I consider myself to be quite openminded and accepting, and while I am not the best communicator, I will listen to whatever it is you have to write. That said, I'm really looking forward to potential pen pals!
[If you send me a letter and can think of something you'd enjoy little doodles of in the reply, be sure to mention it!]
Please send to my mail-catcher:

Hello all! I just came across this post while searching for mail art blogs and thought I’d put my info out here. I’ve been doing mail art for a little bit now (picked up the habit last summer) and would love some new mail art buddies! I’m mostly interested in sending/receiving the artsy-fartsy variety of mail (like postcards, handmade envelopes and the like). Penpalling and writing are not my strong suits.
A little about me: I’m a 32-year-old geek, nerd AND dork. I love Darth Vader, dinosaurs, cartoons, fantasy novels and rock music (there is a 12-year-old trapped inside me, poor thing). My art tastes lean toward the bright, colorful & kooky; pop art, surrealism, low brow, graffiti. I have one teenage daughter who both inspires me and drives me batty on a daily basis. Boston Terriers are my favorite animals on the planet – well, besides gibbons. Gibbons are cool.
If you click on my name at the start of this comment, it’ll take you to my Flickr, which is the best place to get a look-see at the kind of stuff I create.
See you in the mail!

Laura and Langley
Hey everybody,
I have a comment posted above requesting pen pals and corresponds. I just wanted to let everyone know that my blog has been moved and the new link is: http://2012langleyproject.blogspot.com/
Langley and I would love to hear from new friends and we will keep writing to the old ones as well.
My name is Laura, and I am a twenty 20 year old college sophomore about to graduate with my Associate’s degree from my local community college. I am obsessed with cats, just ask Langley my ten-month old kitten. I am recently unengaged as my boyfriend of a year and a half walked out on Langs and me
I am dealing with picking up the pieces of my heart, and learning that I am an awesome person who deserves to be extremely happy.
I love the theatre as well as learning a lot of new things. I love mail art, and am trying to start doing some of my own (hopefully it will turn out well) Be warned I am not much of an artist though.
I would love to hear from people all around the world. So please write to:

Alba
Hiya world,
I love mail art and don’t mind receiving looong letters pouring your heart out or amazingly beautiful mail art postcards. I’ve never done anything like this before so I would love to receive mail from anyone.
My name is Alba and I am a fifteen year old girl who goes to boarding school in Oxford. I am obsessed with colours. Dark, bright, neon, anything colourful makes my day that much better. I am also, very sadly a massive geek. I love dinosaurs, cartoons, star wars and disney movies. My favourite animal in the world is a giraffe. Except for turtles. Turtles are awesome.
I would love to hear from people all over the planet. Please write to:

Hi All, I’ve been sending mail art now for over a year since I stumbled upon the Good Mail Day book/blog and have met a lot of nice and creative people. I am still sending out mail art and would love to hear from new people. While I’m not that great of a writer, I do respond to everyone. I’m 36 years old, married with 2 kids, and everybody in my house knows I’m a pen addict, love all things stationary, and just have a problem when it comes to pen and paper!!! Please write to:

Hi there! I’m interested in get back into making mail and would love to find some new pen pals. We could exchange postcards, letters, or whatever else you’re interested in.
I collect neat postcards, used postage stamps, pretty paper, bookmarks. I like hamsters, anything to do with Japan, books (mainly historical fiction), British comedy, genealogy, making envelopes, stickers, and sometimes collages. I like paper crafts and have dabbled a little in mail art, but I tend to like very simple designs. I’m active on Postcrossing and Swap-bot as well. I’m especially interested in the UK, Japan, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, but I’m curious to learn about other places as well.
